Horizon is an abstract painting inspired by my runs along the Brighton and Hove seafront during the pandemic, looking out towards the horizon as I ran. Painted with a spray paint base and acrylic layers, the movement in the foreground reflects both the rhythm of my running and the shapes of the wind farm along the Sussex coast.
The painting captures that feeling of open space, movement and the changing colours of the sea and sky.
