Description
This painting was inspired by flowers I saw while spending time in Paxos. When I returned home, I started exploring a more impressionist way of working with oils and flowers, learning how thinners, layers and different brushwork could create something much softer and less literal than my previous collections.
It became part of developing a different way of painting flowers and helped shape the techniques I continued to explore in the work that followed.
