Description
This painting came from time spent in Paxos. I loved seeing the abundance of pink and red flowers across the island, particularly against the brilliant blues of the Greek sky and sea. There was something about all that colour that just made me feel good.
I worked predominantly with a brush, building up the flowers through lots of small marks and layers of colour. I really enjoyed finding a way to create that sense of abundance without painting every individual flower in detail.
