Description
Inspired by visits to Monet’s House and Garden in Giverny and earlier to Valencia, where bright pink flowers seemed to hang from every tree, I couldn’t resist painting them against those gorgeous sunshine-filled blue skies.
This collection marked a shift towards a looser, more expressive Impressionist style, moving on from the almost Victorian-tile feel of my earlier small floral studies.
I wanted to keep these paintings soft and light, using only brushes to capture the colour, movement and energy of the flowers.
All original paintings come with a certificate of authenticity
