Katie Preece is a Brighton based potter and printmaker behind KP Studio
KP Studio is about finding beauty in the everyday. Inspired by her rural Hampshire upbringing and love of natural textures, Katie specialises in slab-built pottery from her Brighton studio. A graduate of the University of Brighton in Printmaking, Katie combines Lino-printing techniques onto the tactile surface of clay, creating pieces that blend earthy simplicity with sustainable design.
Crafting durable, elevated homeware for the conscious consumer, her collections feature functional yet artful pieces, characterised by muted tones and organic textures that reflect her deep connection to the natural world.
I have my eye on so many of Katie’s pieces. They are beautifully crafted and I love the mix of texture and gorgeous palette tones!
