Description
This painting was part of my early exploration into creating looser, less literal florals. It captures an area of a garden filled with purple and lilac flowers, with warm golden grasses and foliage beyond.
Working with thinned oils and delicate brushwork, I focused on colour, shape and movement rather than defining every individual flower. It was about learning to work more freely, make fewer marks and, importantly, know when to stop.
